The concepts of \u2018beauty\u2019 and \u2018fine art\u2019 are completely different and cannot be talked about as one. Now, I will give a brief explanation of the two concepts.[2]<\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\u201c\u7f8e\u201d\u4e0e\u201c\u7f8e\u672f\u201d\u662f\u4e24\u6837\u4e1c\u897f\uff0c\u4e0d\u80fd\u6df7\u5728\u4e00\u8d77\u8bb2\u7684\uff0c\u6211\u73b0\u5728\u8981\u5c06\u8fd9\u4e2a\u201c\u7f8e\u201d\u4e0e\u201c\u7f8e\u672f\u201d\u62ff\u6765\u5927\u7565\u89e3\u91ca\u89e3\u91ca\uff1a<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

What is beauty? Beauty lies within the five senses;[3]<\/a> it is that fulfilling feeling of happiness felt in one\u2019s heart and it usually leaves a very deep impression.[4]<\/a><\/a><\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\r\n

\u7f8e\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u2026 \u5c31\u662f\u63a5\u89e6\u7740\u4eba\u7684\u4e94\u5b98\u4e2d\uff0c\u6620\u50cf\u5728\u5fc3\u91cc\u7684\u4e00\u79cd\u5feb\u4e50\u7684\u94ed\u611f\u3002\uff08\u662f\u4e00\u79cd\u6781\u6df1\u7684\u611f\u89c9\uff09<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

What is fine art? It is a kind of technique, an illusion used to express the beauty of space and time.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\r\n

\u7f8e\u672f\u662f\u4ec0\u4e48\uff1f\u2026\u5c31\u662f\u8868\u73b0\u7a7a\u95f4\u65f6\u95f4\u7684\u7f8e\u5e95\u4e00\u79cd\u6280\u672f\u548c\u5e7b\u672f\u7684\u3002<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

\r\n

Just as language stems from feelings and thoughts, fine art stems from our experience of beauty. This is the natural sequence. Therefore, I would like to propose the following stance: \u201cTo have the ability to freely express oneself through fine art, it is necessary to first be able to deeply experience the beauty of the natural world.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\u6709\u611f\u60f3\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u751f\u51fa\u8a00\u8bed\u3002\u6709\u7f8e\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u751f\u51fa\u7f8e\u672f\u3002\u8fd9\u662f\u5929\u7136\u7684\u6b21\u5e8f\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u6211\u8981\u8bf4\u4e00\u53e5\uff1a\u201c\u5148\u8981\u6709\u81ea\u7136\u7684\u94ed\u611f\uff0c\u7136\u540e\u6709\u81ea\u7531\u7684\u7f8e\u672f\u3002\u201d<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Looking only at traditional Chinese art, most artworks focus on their form while often ignoring the \u2018deep impression of beauty\u2019. Focusing on only the principles guiding Chinese painting, the four main ones are: to touch, to watch, to trace and to copy.[5]<\/a> It can be said that there is no principle of innovation among them. When merely looking at the surface of such artworks, they can still be recognised as fine art. However, seen from the viewpoint of today\u2019s concept of fine art, they cannot be recognised as creations done by an artist.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\r\n

\u7167\u6211\u56fd\u7f8e\u672f\u7684\u4f20\u7edf\u4e0a\u770b\u8d77\u6765\uff0c\u90fd\u662f\u4ece\u7f8e\u672f\u4e0a\u6210\u4e3a\u7f8e\u672f\u7684\u4f5c\u54c1\uff0c\u628a\u201c\u7f8e\u7684\u94ed\u611f\u201d\uff08\u65e2\u81ea\u7136\uff09\u662f\u987e\u4e0d\u5230\u7684\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u5355\u8bb2\u4e2d\u56fd\u7ed8\u753b\u6cd5\u5219\uff0c\u5927\u6982\u90fd\u7528\u629a\uff0c\u2014\u6479\uff0c\u2014\u4e34\uff0c\u2014\u4eff\uff0c\u56db\u5927\u672c\u9886\uff1b\u72ec\u521b\u7684\u7b80\u76f4\u53ef\u8bf4\u6ca1\u6709\uff0c\u90a3\u4e9b\u753b\uff0c\u5728\u8868\u9762\u4e0a\u770b\u6765\uff0c\u8bf4\u4ed6\u662f\u7f8e\u672f\uff0c\u672b\u59cb\u4e0d\u53ef\uff0c\u4f46\u7528\u4eca\u65e5\u7684\u601d\u60f3\u6765\u7406\u89e3\u4ed6\uff0c\u5c31\u4e0d\u80fd\u627f\u8ba4\u662f\u7f8e\u672f\u5bb6\u7684\u5236\u4f5c\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Continuing along these lines, I ask: why do we steal the experiences, languages and expressions of others when we have our own? If we sacrifice our own experiences to copy others\u2019 we lose the natural value of beauty.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\u8fdb\u4e00\u5c42\u8bf4\uff1a\u6211\u4eec\u81ea\u5df1\u6709\u611f\u60f3\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u8a00\u8bed\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u8868\u60c5\uff0c\u4e3a\u4ec0\u4e48\u8981\u5047\u7528\u4eba\u5bb6\u7684\u611f\u60f3\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u8a00\u8bed\uff0c\u2014\u2014\u8868\u60c5\u5462\uff1f\u5982\u679c\u727a\u7272\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u611f\u60f3\u2026\u2026\u5047\u7528\u4eba\u5bb6\u7684\u611f\u60f3\u2026\u2026\u90a3\u5c31\u5931\u4e86\u201c\u7f8e\u201d\u7684\u4ef7\u503c\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

Beauty is universal. So too is the resonance of beauty universal. It is there for all mankind and is not only known to artists. Nowadays, the biggest mistake people who study art make is to only focus on the form of beauty. They forget the fundamentals of \u2018natural beauty\u2019.<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n

\r\n

\u7f8e\u662f\u666e\u904d\u7684\uff0c\u6240\u4ee5\u7f8e\u7684\u611f\u52a8\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u4eba\u7c7b\u666e\u904d\u7684\uff0c\u5e76\u4e0d\u662f\u5355\u9650\u4e8e\u7f8e\u672f\u5bb6\u6653\u5f97\u7684\uff0c\u73b0\u5728\u6211\u4eec\u4e60\u827a\u672f\u7684\u4eba\uff0c\u5355\u7814\u6512\u5728\u5f62\u5f0f\u7684\u7f8e\u4e0a\uff1b\u628a\u6839\u672c\u4e0a\u7684\u201c\u81ea\u7136\u7f8e\u201d\u5fd8\u8bb0\u4e86\uff1b\u90a3\u5c31\u662f\u6700\u9519\u8bef\u7684\u5730\u65b9\u3002<\/p>\r\n<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n

1. \u7f8e\uff1a<\/strong>Mei <\/em>stands for beauty, good, aesthetic, virtue but can also be used to explain one\u2019s personality as polite and generous. There are many definitions for the term \u201c\u7f8e\u201d, however, in this context the translators have decided it is best to be translated as \u201cbeauty\u201d.<\/p>\r\n

2. \u6c6a\u4e9a\u5c18 (1894-1983): Wang Yachen was a famous Chinese artist in the period of the Republic of China, especially famous for drawing goldfish, he was known as the \u201cking of goldfish (\u91d1\u9c7c\u5927\u738b)\u201d. In the 1930s, the goldfish painted by Wang Yachen, the shrimps painted by Qi Baishi and the horses done by Xu Beihong were called the \u201cthree masterpieces of traditional Chinese painting (\u56fd\u753b\u4e09\u7edd)\u201d. Wang Yachen was not only a painter, but also an outstanding art educator. 3. \u4e94\u5b98\uff1a<\/strong>In general wu guan <\/em>refers to the five sense organs (ears, eyes, lips, nose and tongue) or facial appearance. However, in this context, it refers to the \u201cfive senses\u201d(wugan <\/em>\u4e94\u611f) which are taste, sight, touch, smell, and sound.<\/p>\r\n
